The THOR CI (cowl intake/cowl induction) kit draws air from the high-pressure area at the base of the windshield which is also colder and denser. In addition to clearing room in a cramped engine compartment for additional batteries, compressors, air systems etc. it also raises the intake/inlet substantially higher than factory without adding a cumbersome snorkel.
